Clothing Manufacturer in Turkey

When you are growing a brand, who you produce with is the decision that shapes everything else. Source İstanbul works with brands from our facility in İkitelli OSB, handling the whole chain: fabric sourcing, sample development, printing, sewing and quality control. Turkey's proximity to Europe and its mature textile base mean far shorter lead times — and far closer oversight — than sourcing from the Far East.

How does garment manufacturing in Turkey work? The process starts with design and fabric selection, then moves to sampling. Once you have physically checked and approved the sample, bulk production begins, followed by quality control and shipping. You deal with one point of contact throughout.

Why Turkey?

Turkey sits close enough to Europe that shipping is measured in days rather than weeks. Under the customs union with the EU, textiles travel with an A.TR movement certificate, which simplifies both paperwork and cost for brands selling into Europe.

The second advantage is an intact supply chain: yarn, weaving, dyeing and finishing, printing, trims and sewing all exist in the same country — often in the same city. When something goes wrong, that means hours to intervene, not weeks.

What to check when choosing a manufacturer is set out step by step in our guide on how to find a textile manufacturer in Turkey.

  • Short lead times and low freight cost to Europe
  • A.TR movement certificate under the customs union
  • A complete supply chain concentrated in one region
  • Flexible capacity that also works at low volumes

What we handle

A brand rarely needs a single isolated service, so we run the process as a whole — though if you only want one part of it, that works too.

  • Fabric sourcing and fabric selection consultancy
  • Pattern making and sample development
  • Digital, sublimation and screen printing
  • Sewing and garment assembly
  • Labels, trims and branding
  • Quality control and shipping

How the process runs

1. Brief. We take your product, target quantity, fabric preference and delivery date. A tech pack speeds things up; if you do not have one, we build it together.

2. Fabric and price. We present suitable fabric options and give you price and lead time.

3. Sample. Patterns are cut and a sample is produced. You see the fabric, the construction, the print and the measurements in person.

4. Approval and production. Once the sample is approved, bulk production starts.

5. Quality control and shipping. Goods are inspected before despatch, then shipped to your address.

For smaller brands

The usual barrier for a new brand is minimum order quantity. Digital printing and flexible capacity make capsule-collection volumes realistic. Unit cost falls as quantity rises, so starting small and scaling once something sells is both common and sensible.

The exact minimum depends on the fabric and the chosen method — we state it plainly in the quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your minimum order quantity?

It depends on the fabric and the printing method. Digital printing and sublimation support sample and capsule-collection volumes; screen printing and woven fabric production require more. Once we know the product and fabric, we give you the exact figure in the quote.

I do not have a design yet — can you help?

Yes. Working from reference images, your target customer and price point, we can support design and pattern development. If you have no tech pack, we build one with you.

Are samples charged?

A sample is a genuine production step — patterns, fabric and labour are used. It is therefore normally charged, but if the order proceeds we deduct the amount from the total.

Do you handle shipping to Europe?

Yes, we arrange export and freight. Textiles going to the EU travel under the customs union with an A.TR movement certificate; we set out which documents apply to your shipment in the quote.
