Privacy Policy

This policy explains how personal data shared with us through sourceistanbul.com is handled. It covers information you provide by using our site or contacting us through a form, by email or by telephone.

1. What data we collect

We collect information you give us directly: the name, email address, telephone number and message you enter in our contact form, and your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter. Separately, our server logs hold technical data — IP address, browser information, visit time and the pages viewed. These logs are kept for security and error tracking.

2. How we use it

We use what you share only to handle your request: preparing a quote, answering your question, running the sampling and order process. If you subscribed to the newsletter, we send periodic updates until you unsubscribe. We do not sell your data to third parties for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing. Sharing happens only where the service requires it: a courier or freight company to deliver your order, our hosting provider, and competent authorities where there is a lawful request.

4. Cookies

The site uses technically necessary cookies for session handling — remembering your language preference, for instance. These are required for the site to work. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but some functions may then not work correctly.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and quotation records for as long as the commercial relationship requires and legislation prescribes. When you unsubscribe from the newsletter your address is removed. Server logs are held for a limited period and deleted automatically.

6. Your rights

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it, to ask for correction or deletion, to object to processing and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We respond within the period prescribed by law.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and form data is transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to your data is limited to those who need it. No system is absolutely secure, so we advise against sending us sensitive information such as card or identity numbers.

8. Changes

If we change this policy we publish the current version on this page, and note it at the top of the page when the change is significant.
